The Latin Series of Poker, SA (LSOP) a premier events company, who’s goal is to bring prestigious land based poker events to the Latin American market, announced the postponement of its inaugural LSOP event which was scheduled to be held August 3-9, 2009 in Panama City, Panama. In the best interest of its players and sponsors, the event is being postponed due to travel fears related to the threat of the Swine Flu. All players who have qualified for LSOP tournament entries and travel packages at participating poker sites, will receive alternative poker tournament vacations/prizing or cash, at their election. Plans to televise the event, which would have been aired through out Latin America, will commence once the new details are announced.
